America's largest Sai temple to come up at Groton, Massachusetts

Groton (Massachusetts ), Jan 9, 2015: New England Shirdi Sai Parviaar (NESSP) is making arrangements to build America's largest Sai temple at Groton, Massachusetts. The NESSP, which has purchased 28 acres of land in Groton, has received all the permissions from the Government authorities for the construction of the temple. Krishna Mandalapu, convener of the NESSP, said in a press release that the 2-storied temple will come up in an area of 40,000-square-foot in a sprawling campus of 28 acres. "This will be the biggest Sai temple in the US when completed," he said. Krishna Mandalapu has informed that the organisation has secured an additional donor fund to the tune of $1.7 Million dollars through pledges thereby bringing the total funding well over $5 Million dollars mark. Disclosing that the construction of the temple will begin this year itself, he asked people to take part in the divine project by donating liberally to the construction of the Sai temple. He said that, in the new temple, NESSP will permanently embellish a Divine Neem Tree consisting of 1008 leaves with the names of the donors. "It is also a great way to honor your family members as their names will be engraved on the walls of largest Baba temple for generations. We request our devotees to avail this opportunity and be part of this holy yagna," he appealed. The tree will have a total of 1008 brass leaves with each leaf having one or two names of donor family , he said, adding that each donor can donate $1,116.00 or higher for a leaf. "There are different payment options for donors' convenience. All donations towards this project will be Tax deductible. Donors can also sponsor a class room or any other temple prayer halls," says the press release.
