Court takes up charge sheet against Uber cab driver
New Delhi Jan 5: A court Monday took cognizance of the charge sheet filed against a driver of the Uber taxi company who has been accused of raping a 27-year-old woman executive here Dec 5. Metropolitan Magistrate Ajay Kumar Malik took cognizance of the charge sheet and transferred the case to sessions court, posting the matter for Jan 7. Meanwhile, Delhi Police have provided documents related to the charge sheet to the accused taxi driver, Shiv Kumar Yadav. Yadav's judicial custody was extended till Wednesday.
