Jagan to undertake 48-hour Deeksha at Tanuku for farmers

Hyderabad, Jan 5, 2015: YSR Congress Party President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will undertake a 48-hour Deeksha on Jan 31 and Feb 1 at Tanuku of West Godavari district highlighting the problems of farmers. Disclosing this to reporters here, party senior leader and former minister Dharmana Prasada Rao told reporters here on Monday that TDP Government has been resorting to victimization of farmers who are not willing to give away their lands for capital city construction. "Instead of ordering an inquiry into the arson attack on the fields of farmers who are not willing to give away their lands, the government has been campaigning that YSRCP has been involved in the incident. This is ridicuolous, " he said , disclosing that they have asked the Governor to order a judicial probe into the arson attack. Earlier, several YSRCP MLAs and senior leaders including Dharmana Prasada Rao accompanied party Chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy who led a delegation to the Governor to represent the case of farmers.
