Great leaders will be in people’s hearts forever, says Jagan after unveiling YSR, Buchepalli statues

Prakasam, August 24: Great leaders will stay in the hearts of people forever, said Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy after unveiling bronze statues of former chief minister late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy (YSR) and former Darsi MLA late Buchepalli Subba Reddy on main road at Chimakurthy on Wednesday.
 
Addressing a public meeting, the CM said that YSR implemented social welfare schemes like free power to farmers, fee reimbursement, and Aarogyasri. “In the last three years, 95% promises mentioned in the manifesto were fulfilled after YSRCP coming to power,” he said. Jagan vowed to do many more good things to people with God’s blessings.
 
The CM stated that a new power slab system will be implemented to granite industry. “As promised, Rs 2 per unit will be reduced in bills to small granite units,” he said and assured to grant Rs 20 crore for construction of a new Zilla Parishad building. Minister Audimulapu Suresh, YSRCP MLA Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, Zilla Parishad Chairperson Buchepalli Venkayamma, former Darsi MLA Buchepalli Sivaprasad Reddy and other YSRCP leaders were present.
