MM Keeravani strikes back at Oscar-winner Resul for terming RRR 'Gay Love Story'

Hyderabad, July 7: Music director MM Keeravani came down heavily on Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty for his remarks against Ram Charan and Jr. NTR starrer RRR. In a tweet, Resul termed RRR a ‘Gay Love Story’. He also said that talent of Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt was not utilised properly.
 
In response to Resul’s tweet, Keeravani in a tweet wrote, “Maybe I am bad at using uppercase and lowercase letters, while typing letters but I respect every person's freedom of expression, including of Resul Pookutty”. Musician called him ‘P*OKUtty’. Even, Baahubali producer Shobu Yarlagadda also slammed sound engineer. 
 
However, Resul clarified that he quoted the remarks from an article. After some time, Keeravani deleted the tweets. But the tweets went viral on social media. 
 
RRR directed by SS Rajamouli was massive hit at the box office and collected Rs 1,144 crore worldwide. V. Vijayendra Prasad, who penned the story of RRR, nominated to Rajya Sabha by the Modi government.
