Tekkali TDP MPTC member stabbed to death

Srikakulam, Dec 25, 2014: TDP MPTC member of Tekkali in Srikakulam district, Kolla Appanna was brutally murdered by some unidentified miscreants on Thursday. Four unidentified miscreants attacked him with swords this morning when he walking on the old highway near Tekkali killing him on the spot. The killers covered their faces with cloth to avoid recognition. Appanna was on his way to Mandapalem when the murder took place. Locals of Mandapalem colony called him to interfere in a land dispute and settle the issue. After stabbing him to death, the killers ran away on motor cycles and in a waiting auto. Appanna was an accused in a case relating to the murder of a rowdy last year. Police are investigating the case.
