Will not tolerate if capital is built on Krishna river banks: MLC Nageshwar

Hyderabad, Dec 19: Telangana MLC Nageshwar Kasanagottu on Friday warned the Andhra Pradesh government for its decision to construct the new capital city on the banks of river Krishna. The former Osmania University professor said if the AP government goes ahead with its plan, it will not be tolerated. Speaking to media persons after talking to farmers in Penumaka village of Tadepalli mandal of Guntur district, he said instead of building the new capital on dry lands the AP government was destroying rich agriculture lands. "This is not acceptable," he said.
