Swarupanandendra Swamiji: Declare India Hindu country

Visakha , Dec 19, 2014: Swami Swarupanandendra Saraswathi,the pontiff of Visakha Sarada peetam, has on Friday demanded the Centre to declare India a Hindu country and remove the word secular from the Indian Constitution. Speaking to a TV channel at his Visakha Asram, the Swamiji said that the Hindus are suffering a lot because of the pseudo secularists and sought an immediate Central Act banning religious conversions across the country. The Swamiji's comments are bound to stir up a debate in the wake of the RSS lobby's efforts to reinforce re-conversions in some states into Hinduism.
