Singapore to provide Capital plans free of cost : Yanamala

Hyderabad, Dec 19, 2014 : Singapore has agreed to formulate AP Capital city designs and plans free of cost, according to finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu. In a chit chat with media persons in the state assembly lobbies on Friday, the minister said the construction of capital city would take place transparently by inviting bids. "We are not going to announce any special concessions to Singapore for the construction of the capital city. In fact, they have agreed to provide the plans and designs free of cost," he said. Giving a clarification on Polavaram project, he said the Centre will soon reimburse the Rs. 5000 Cr spent on the project.
