TS Govt hikes CBF fund to each district to Rs 5 crore to meet urgent needs of people
Hyderabad, April.12: The Telangana State government has decided to enhance the allocation of funds under Crucial Balancing Fund (CBF) from Rs 3 crore to Rs 5 crore per district from the 2017-18 financial year.
According to a memo issued by Special Chief Secretary B P Acharya on Wednesday, an amount of Rs 155 crore has been provided in the 2017-18 Budget Estimates at the rate of Rs 5 crore per each district under CBF to enable the district Collectors to take up important works to cater to the urgent needs of the people
