Undavalli Demands To Reveal Secret Behind 'Polavaram'

Rajahmundry: Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar slammed AP CM Chandrababu Naidu over his statements on Polavaram project. Recently AP CM told that due to his 'compromise' only center giving funds to 'Polavaram'.

He dubbed that 'compromise' as an insult to People of Andhra Pradesh. He demanded AP government to release a 'White Paper' on irrigation projects of the State.

He pointed out that, if Chandrababu is committed to complete Polavaram project by 2018, then what is the need of constructing 'Pattiseema' & 'Purushottamapatnam' projects.

Speaking to media, this veteran politician told that till today ambiguity prevails on the ingredients of 'Special Package'.

He alleged that only to encourage contractors for kickbacks government already wasted Rs.1600cr public money in the name of 'Pattiseema' and going ahead to misappropriate Rs.1800cr in the name of 'Purushottamapatnam'.
