Actor Anandraj Quits AIADMK

Chennai: Expressing his displeasure over the party's decision of selecting Sasiakal Natarajan as Party General Secretary Actor Anandraj has quit the party.

He is one among the staunch loyalists of late Tamilnadu CM Jayalalithaa. He has withdrawn his membership also.

Tamil Nadu's ruling AIADMK today passed a resolution that V.K. Sasikala, a close aide of the late CM J. Jayalalithaa, is the only person fit to become the AIADMK's General Secretary.

According to the party, a General Secretary has to be elected by the basic members in Tamil Nadu and the office-bearers of party wings in Puducherry, New Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra and Andaman.
