Maruti SUV 'Vitara Brezza' : Indian Car Of The Year
New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki's SUV Vitara Brezza has won "Indian Car of the Year 2017" award.
In its statement Maruti said "Since its launch in 2016 March, Vitara Brezza has sold nearly 83,000 units and become one of the top 10 selling models of India. It propelled Maruti Suzuki to the top position in utility vehicle space also."
Among all the cars which launched in 2016, A consortium of renowned 15 auto journalists announced Vitara Brezza as the "Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) 2017".
Toyota Innova Crysta and Hyundai Tucson gave tough competition to Vitara Brezza to stand as ICOTY-2017.
Kenichi Ayukawa, MD and CEO of Maruti Suzuki, told "It has brought us leadership status in SUV segment. Applying Suzuki core technology it was developed and designed by a expert team of Maruti Suzuki engineers, Vitara Brezza is heralded as a model of 'Create in India'."
