Appoint more HoDs in districts: CM KCR

Hyderabad, Oct.6: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today directed to appoint heads to all departments in districts based on seniority for speedy and smooth governance as reorganization of districts will come into force from Dasara. Addressing a high level review meeting at MCR HRD here the chief minister directed that the proposals for the same should be sent to the government. The Chief Minister favoured promotions to the officials and staff through DPC method and required staff will be appointed to share work burden. KCR directed to more powers and duties to incharges as the administration wings are being expanded. The government will shift the officials to other departments after making use of their services for irrigation projects being built up and Mission Bhagiratha. He asked the officials to prepare an action plan with norms to shift them to any region and other wings as per requirement. The chief minister asked the officials to make use of this opportunity of districts reorganisation to offer improved services. Keeping future needs in view, the officials should come up with new and innovative ideas to implement more schemes for the welfare and cater to future needs of the people.
