Ram-Ram to NaMo, Varunaya & Rajnathaya are new face of BJP for crucial UP polls
The BJP is changing its electoral face. So far it has been chanting NaMo mantra for winning the elections. after a string of successes, there were a series of defeats. As a result the party decided to change its electoral face from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Namo Varunaya and Namo Rajnathaya. The BJP thinktank has found that for the crucial UP Assembly elections next year, the Pilbhit MP, Varun Gandhi, and Home Minister Rajnath Singh were the front runners for the stature of Chief Minister. So when the opposition Congress is coming up with a Brahmanical face of either Rahul Gandhi or Priyanka Gandhi, the BJP, too, found some merit in the Congress chase. It will, therefore, introduce Varun Gandhi. Since Varun Gandhi is too young to understand the intricacies of UP politics, it chose the former Chief Minister Rajnath Singh to be the party front in next year's assembly elections. Already Rajnath Singh is involved in the crucial election of 11 Rajya Sabha MPs from the State. If the tactic works, then the BJP would confirm Rajnath Singh to take over management of the crucial UP poll. Also it appears the Amit Shah magic is not working. In the Bihar poll, the Prashant Kishor factor worked and the people voted on the caste basis for the Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav combination. It remeains to be seen how the Rajnath factor will work in UP.
