Poll reverses confine Jayalalithaa to Poes Garden

Poes Garden residence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is observing silence following the exit polls predicting heavy reversals to the AIADMK and power going to M. Karunanidhi's DMK. The Chief Minister has not stirred out of her residence for the past 2 days. During the election campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had dubbed them as house-bound Chief Ministers. AIADMK sources said that after the election review, the party leaders had been reluctant to share their views on the outcome. No party leader is daring enough to go to Poes Gardens and call on the Chief Minister. Tamil Nadu is so cult-ridden. Jayalalithaa has only her companion, Sasikala, with her. Party sources say Jaya is keeping a tab on news in TV channels. All but one exit poll agency had predicted defeat for Amma. These agencies had realized the wrath of the powers that be if they were to go wrong.
