Nagam warns against obstructions to T projects

Hyderabad, May 16: BJP senior leader and former minister Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy today warned that he would not keep quiet if projects in Telangana were stopped or prevented. Talking to the media here on Monday, Dr Nagam said, “There will be no question of keeping quiet if the rights of using Krishna river water by Khammam, Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda districts were violated”, Nagam said. “Nobody can prevent Palmuru-Rangareddy project and Dindi lift irrigation project which were sanctioned by late YSR”, he said. Meanwhile, the OU Students JAC today tried to lay a siege to Lotus Pond, residence of Jagan in protest against his Jala Deeksha in Kurnool. Telangana Navnirman Vidyarthi Sena warned Jagan not to oppose projects of Telangana. However, the police foiled their attempt and taken them into preventive custody.
