While hiking MLA numbers, Chandrababu reassures TDP loyalists
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday reassured the TDP loyalists that their interests would in no way be compromised while the party is solely increasing its numbers by inviting other party MLAs into the party. Inviting Sujayakrishna Rangarao, Bobbili MLA, and his brother, Baby Naina, into the TDP, Chandrababu said the party loyalists had no reason to be perturbed by the new blood coming into the party. He gave his personal assurance to the loyalists that he would never forget them for all their aid to the party in times of need. On the occasion, the Chief Minister called on to the dais Tentu Laxminaidu and Toomula Bhaskar Rao, who contested for the TDP and lost the election, that whatever help they wanted, the party would come to their aid. The TDP would stand by them, he added. The Bobbili Royal family brothers joined the TDP at an elaborate ceremony, marked by speeches, including by Union Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju.
