Yanamala calls it e-budget but reads from documents

Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Yanamala Ramkrishnudu on Thursday presented an e-budget to the State Assembly. Computer tablets were distributed among the MLAs to see the budget proposals in the language they opted, Telugu or English. Presenting the budget, Yanamala said the budget proposals were also published, and the MLAs, if they so desired, could see the budget document also. The Finance Minister started the budget with a quote by former President Abdul Kalam. Yanamala himself did not use the computer tablet and preferred the published document to read out the proposals. Before presenting the budget, he just showed the computer tablet. Therefore, it is no e-budget and but a regular budget.
