Methkupalli weeps over state of TDP
Firebrand Methkupalli Narasimhulu is weeping over the state of his Telugu Desam Party in Telangana. He is believed to have said at a party meeting at NTR Bhavan that he was unnerved by the TDP gradually losing its ground in Telangana. Narasimhulu said this in presence of several TDP leaders. The party was losing ground day by day. He was sorry that the party founded by Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao should so degenerate. Narasimhulu also told the meeting that he would on his own try to revive the party's chances. He would shortly start a programme in Alair to meet the people and revive the party's fortunes in the region. The firebrand leader breaking down should be a matter of concern to the TDP. It was expected to do well in the GHMC poll. But in Telangana countrysides it may have taken a hit. The GHMC poll is a crucial test not just for the TDP but other parties as well.
