Film director and actress Renu Desai has pooh-poohed a relation between girls and women's scanty dress and male voyerism. She said men stared regardless at girls and women whether the girls were dressed from top of the head to toe or wearing sleeveless blouse and sari or hot pants or in jeans and t-shirt. In fact, she uploaded a picture in the social media showing a couple of youths sitting on a mobike and leisurely staring at burqa-clad women passing by to prove her point about male yoyerism. Renu tweeted that it was in the nature of male chauvinism to stare at girls. "It's never about her clothes! It's always the eyes of the man! Always!" she concluded.
