India to buy US drones to keep a watch on China border

India has decided to buy Rs.2,000 crore worth sophisticated drones to keep a watch on the border with China. China is wont to making peaceful border assertions on the one hand and carry out border transgressions and plans for attack on Indian border posts on the other. Against this background, the Narendra Modi government has decided to adopt a tough posture hereafter. As part of this plan, India is going to deploy both armed and surveillance drones on the border with China. The sophisticated drones are expected to transmit information on real-time basis to the authorities concerned. There are plans to purchase Predator XP Drones also. These are meant to gauge extremist plans and for internal security.
