Great Leap (Year) backward for Modi in the US?

While Narendra Modi is on first-name basis with President Barack Obama, the US Southern Federal Court in New York has asked the State Department to submit all records relating to the Indian Prime Minister's two visits to America by February. The Judge fixed the hearing for February 29. The case follows a plea by a human rights group, Six for Justice, seeking information on visa for Modi, the ban on which was lifted in June 2013, as he was shaping up to be the Prime Minister. Since the info was denied owing to its sensitive nature at that time, the human rights body filed a petition under the Information Act. The court directive follows the renewed plea.
