AP sets up Kapu Commission, retd judge to head the panel

Hyderabad, Nov 30: Andhra Pradesh government today decided to establish the Kapu Corporation under the stewardship of a retired judge. Announcing this to the media today, AP Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said the names of the members of the commission will be announced in the two to three days time. Only after the commission submits its report, the government will take the next step, the minister said. He then assured that with the setting up of a Kapu Commission the BC's will not suffer in any manner. He then said there will be equal reservation facility to Kapus and BCs. He then said the government proposes to bring in amendments to the land lease rules.
