Amaravati to have eastern entrance

Hyderabad, Nov 27: Andhra Pradesh government is planning to develop an eastern entrance to Amaravati capital city. In this connection, the government is considering to dig up an underground tunnel as part of the four-lane entrance road at Seethanagaram-Vundavalli location for providing an east side entrance to the capital city. The Capital Region Development Authority also completed a study and is planning to construct the four-lane flyover towards Krishna canal bund. Since the hills are a barrier for the east entrance between Seethanagaram and Vundavalli, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is believed to have directed the CRDA officials to dig up a tunnel under the hills for a four-lane road.
