Harish thanks all for success of Mission Kakatiya

Hyderabad, Nov 2: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao thanked everyone for the success of the state government's flagship programme 'Mission Kakatiya'. It may be noted that desilting and renovation of irrigation tanks were carried under the programme. Addressing a conference on second phase of Mission Kakatiya at JNTU in Hyderabad today, he commended the officials of all departments for working in tandem. He claimed that the programme evoked good response from farmers. Government saved Rs 400 crore as farmers transported silt, he added. Harish said that the programme yielded good results in Khammam and Warangal districts. The second phase of the programme will be implemented across the state from January.
