Sujana board gets court notice in contempt case

Hyderabad, Oct 31: The High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad is said to have issued notices to the Sujana Universial Industries Ltd's board of directors following a contempt plea filed by the Mauritius Commercial Bank. The notice was also issued to Union minister YS Chowdary as he is now a non-executive member of the company. In the plea, the Mauritius Commercial Bank alleged the directors of the company had intentionally decided not to comply with the orders of a city civil court, even though the high court had dismissed their revision. It may be recalled that the city civil court had directed the company to reveal the details of all its assets through an affidavit.
