3-phase Amaravati development to be completed by 2050

Hyderabad, Oct 28: Though the first phase of Amaravati construction works are to begin in 2016, the completion of the final and third phase of the capital city construction will be only in 2050, according to sources. The Seed Area Capital Master Plan has divided the development of the capital region in three phases. Phase one named 'Catalyze' is expected to be completed by 2025. About 37,758 acres of land will be developed in the first phase. The second phase named 'Momentize' is expected to be completed by 2035. Under this phase, 20,000 acres will be developed in this phase. The third and final phase named 'Sustain' is expected to be completed by 2050. A total of 41,000 acres of land are to be developed in this phase.
