Hyderabad, Oct 17: Andhra Pradesh Agriculture Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao today revealed that donations worth Rs 88 lakh were collected on just one day for the construction of Amaravati. Participating in a Mana Neeru-Mana Matti programme at Piduguralla village, Pulla Rao called on the people to take part in the development of the capital city. Refuting the opposition charges that the government was spending Rs 400 crores for the capital construction, Rao said the government spent just Rs 9 crores for development purpose in the districts of Krishna and Guntur.
