TDP govt pursuing anti-farmer policies: Jagan

Bhogapuram(Vizianagaram), Oct 05: YSRCP chief and Leader of Opposition in AP Assembly YS Jaganmohan Reddy has accused TDP government of pursuing anti-farmer policies. Jagan today visited Ravivalasa village near here and pledged support to farmers who were staging protest against the move to acquire farm lands for Bhogapuram airport. He said that airport is planned at Bhogapuram to protect the interests of Ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Ch Ayyanna Patrudu. He demanded the government to reconsider its decision to acquire farm lands for the airport. Jagan warned that the party would wage a legal battle if government tries to forcibly acquire land from farmers. Earlier in the day, Ganta Srinivasa Rao has accused Jagan of politicising the issue.
