Opposition parties call for Telangana bandh on Oct 10
Hyderabad, Oct 05: Opposition parties have called for a total bandh in Telangana on October 10 in protest against the government's indifferent attitude towards the problems of the farmers. TTDP president L Ramana has called upon the party cadres to burnt effigies of government at all the Assembly constituencies. TDP floor leader in Telangana Assembly Errabelli Dayakar Rao flayed the government for suspending Opposition MLAs for the entire session. He demanded the government to declare Rs 5,000 MSP for cotton. The MLAs said that they would reconsider decision on bandh if the government implements crop loan waiver in one go by October 9. Later, the MLAs staged a protest at Gandhi statue on the premises of the Assembly.
