Lagadapati meets Chandrababu, triggers rumours

Delhi, Sep 25: Industrialist and former Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at AP Bhavan in Delhi yesterday. Kambhampati Rammohan Rao, Special Representative of AP government in New Delhi and Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani also attended the meet. According to reports, political issues did not come up for discussion in the meeting. Business issues came up for discussion between Lagadapati and Chandrababu. After the bifurcation of AP, Lagadapati stayed away from political activities. Lagadapati strongly opposed bifurcation of the state and even announced that he would quit politics if Lok Sabha passes AP state Reorganisation Bill. It is said that Lagadapati would soon join Telugu Desam Party.
