Syringe attacks continue unabated in WG

Eluru (West Godavari), Sep 06: Syringe attacks are continuing unabated in West Godavari district. The suspected psycho today attacked a woman travelling in auto at K Illandaraparru village of Iragavaram mandal in the district today. The victim Venkata Lakshmi.was attacked with syringe by bike-borne youth while she was travelling from Tanuku to her native village in an auto. The victim was immediately shifted to hospital and her condition was stated to be stable. The victim said that two persons were involved in the attack. The police announced reward of Rs 1 lakh for information that would lead to the arrest of the suspected psycho and installed CCTVs at several places in the district Forty special teams were constituted and 15 check-posts were set up to nab the accused.
