MLAs come to blows at Mahbubnagar ZP meeting

Mahbubnagar, Sep 04: In an unprecedented incident, TRS MLA Guvvala Balraju slapped Congress MLA Rammohan Reddy at the Zilla Parishad meeting held here today. Pandemonium prevailed at the meeting as TRS leaders raised slogans alleging that TDP has no moral right to speak on Palamuru Lift Irrigation Scheme. Situation further aggravated after Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao made alleged derogatory remarks against TDP MLAs. TRS MLA Balaraju staged a sit in at ZP chairman podium demanding action against Rammohan Reddy. He alleged that Rammohan Reddy made derogatory comments on SCs and demanded the officials to file SC/ST Atrocities case on the MLA. The MLAs and members reportedly indulged in fisticuffs. CLP leader Jana Reddy strongly condemned the highhandedness of TRS leaders.
