Official found playing Candy Crush while farmers were narrating their woes

Chennai, Sep 03: A revenue official landed in trouble after she was caught on camera playing Candy Crush Saga game on her mobile phone at an official meeting with farmers. The incident happened at Dharamapuri in Tamil Nadu. District Collector presided over the meeting and the officer S Kavitha sat next to the former. The Collector ordered probe after the farmers of the drought-prone area complained after the video went viral on social media. The incident exposes the callous attitude of officials towards the problems of farmers. So far 68 farmers committed suicide due to crop loss in the area.
