AP Assembly session from tomorrow
Hyderabad, Aug 30: Monsoon session of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly would be held in Hyderabad from tomorrow. Speaking to the media here, Assembly speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao said that the session would be held for five days. Kodela urged the members to carry out fruitful discussion and not to waste public money. He asked the members to give constructive suggestions to the government. Demand for according special status, construction of new capital city, drought, ongoing irrigation projects and other issues are likely to come up for debate in the session. Kodela earlier reviewed with the officials security and other arrangements for the Assembly session. Chief secretary IYR Krishna Rao and other senior officials were present.
