KCR vehicle named as Telangana Pragathi Ratham

Hyderabad, July 26: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's new mine-proof Mercedes Benz bus is christened as 'Telangana Pragathi Ratham'. The bus was painted with white and green colours representing Haritha Haaram programme. A few minor problems were found in the Rs five crore worth vehicle with stringent security standards, soon after it came to Hyderabad. RTC engineering officials also suggested a few changes in interior decoration. Following this, JCBL mechanical experts and RTC officials were busy making the changes and repairs at Hyderabad-1 depot for the past one week. The major modifications done were - The left corner of the bus was touching the ground on rough roads while going on a high speed and this was remade. Hydraulic system modified so that the doors will open with ease. Writing pad was arranged beside the CM's seat. Audio capacity was increased and two-way communication system was further strengthened.
