'Mee Intiki, Mee Bhumi' from August 10 in AP

Hyderabad, July 25: The Andhra Paradesh government has decided to update all the land records in the 13 districts of the State. Revealing the government's decision here on Saturday, AP Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishna Murthy said for this purpose, the government has taken up 'Mee Intiki, Mee Bhumi' programme from August 10 to 31. To serve this purpose, the government had launched 'Mee Bhumi' portal on June 12, he said. Through this portal, anyone who owns land could know details of his land either with Aadhaar card number or land survey number, from anywhere in the State. But certain mistakes took place during computerising the land records, the Deputy CM said. To correct these mistakes, 'Mee Intiki, Mee Bhumi' programme was taken up. Village-level meetings would be organised in every gram panchayat in the State in which mandal Tahsildar, MROs, RIs, surveyors and other officials will participate.
