Mathaiah in CID custody in Vijayawada

Vijayawada, June 17: Andhra Pradesh CBCID sleuths took Mathaiah, the A-4 accused in the note-for-vote case, into custody on Wednesday. He was presented before the magistrate and recorded his declaration. Meanwhile, Satyanarayanapuram police station CI Satyanarayana said that Mathaiah did not make a direct complaint against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He on Wednesday said that Mathaiah complained that Telangana Rashtra Samithi people were threatening him. He never mentioned the names of Chief Miniser KCR or ACB officials, but only stated in his report about unidentified persons threatening him over phone. Based on his complaint, cases under 506, 507, 185 (A) and 387 sections were filed, he said. He refused to divulge further details. It should be pointed out here that Mathaiah complained at Satyanarayanapuram police station about threat to his life.
