Mathaiah’s case transferred to CID
Hyderabad, June 16: In a day of swift developments, the Andhra Pradesh government has transferred the case filed by Note for Vote Scandal accused Mathaiah against Telangana Chief Minister KCR to CID (Crime Investigation Department). Mathaiah alleged that KCR and Telangana police pressurized him to confess to the crime. The case was filed under sections 506, 507, 389 and 195-A of IPC at Satyanarayanapuram Police Station in Vijayawada. Mathaiah alleged that followers of KCR threatened him to give statement against AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. Mathaiah informed the media that he came to Vijayawada for the safety of life. It may be noted that Mathaiah is the fourth accused in scandal.
