Sukhender rues over declining values in politics
Nalgonda, June 7 : Senior Congress leader and Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy took a serious note of his brother's defection to TRS. At a press conference here, he expressed concern over the declining moral values in politics. In a veiled reference to his brother Jithender Reddy who joined TRS on Saturday, Sukhender said that political leaders were resorting to unethical things to retain power. He condemned the defections of his brother and members of NARMAC( Mother Dairy). Sukhender accused the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of trying to wipe out opposition parties in the State. Meanwhile, NARMAC chairman Jithender Reddy said that he joined TRS to protect the interests of the organisation and dairy farmers. He refuted the reports the he had joined TRS to retain the post. There were rumours that Jithender and DCCB chairman M Panduranga Rao will join TRS in the presence of CM at public meeting to be held at NG College in Nalgonda on June 8 but Jithender and his followers joined the party two days earlier.
