KCR christens Damaracharla thermal power plant as Yadadri

Huyderbad, April 29, 2015: Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao has christened the proposed thermal power plant at Damaracharla in Nalgonda district as Yadadri. The Damaracharla thermal power plant will now be called Yadadri Thermal Power plant. During a review meeting with electricity department officials at his office in Secretariat on Wednesday, KCR has revealed that he will soon lay the foundation stone for the Yadadri thermal power plant. The CM has directed the officials to take steps to supply 9-hour power during day time to the second crop next year. "By next March, 7000 MW of power would be available in the state and by 2018, the state will have surplus power," he told the officials .
