Venkaiah pays tributes to Malli Mastan Babu
Nellore, April 25: The last rites of ace Indian mountaineer Malli Mastan Babu are scheduled to be performed with state honours today at his home town in Nellore district. Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Venkaiah Naidu and Andhra Pradesh Minister Kamineni Srinivas paid rich tributes to the departed soul. Speaking on the occasion, Venkaiah Naidu said the government has tried its level best to trace and bring back Mastan Babu's body. The minister said Mastan Babu's life will be an inspiration to others. Earlier, Mastan Babu's sister Malli Dorasanamma brought his ramains to Delhi from Argentina and from there to Chennai on Friday. From Chennai, Mastan Babu's remains were taken to Nellore.
