Babu asks officials to pay crop loss compensation to farmers before month end

Hyderabad, April 19, 2015:AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has instructed officials to prepare the guidelines to pay compensation to the farmers who have suffered heavy crop losses in the recent unseaonal rains in the state. He asked them to take steps to pay the compensation before this month end. The package would be akin to the one given to victims of Hudhud cyclone. The guidelines will be considered by the state cabinet at its meeting on April 22. On the instructions of Chandrababu Naidu, deputy chief minister Chinarajappa conducted review meeting over the crop losses and informed the CM about the review details.
