Siddaiah to be cremated with official honours

Zedcherla (Mahabubnagar district), April 8, 2015:A pall of gloom has descended on the family of SI Siddaiah who had breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Kamineni hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Siddaiah will be cremated with official hounours at 3 PM this evening at his native village Zedcherla. Earlier, his body was brought here and kept at his residence. He was grievously injured in a police encounter with SIMI terrorists Saturday morning at Janakipuram in Nalgonda district. He received bullets in his brain and chest and the doctors' efforts to give him life proved futile. Zedcherla town looked sad and melancholic as hundreds of people started visiting Siddaiah's house and paying tributes to his mortal remains. Meanwhile, dozens of politicians of all political parties visited Siddaiah's residence and paid rich tributes to his mortal remains.
