Chandrayaan-3's ingenious Pragyan rover is not only exploring the Moon's surface and discovering elements like sulfur; it's also uncovering fascinating phenomena. While the rover is gaining considerable attention, India's 'Vikram Lander' is also actively engaged in lunar experiments. Recently, it detected what appears to be a "natural" Moonquake – a remarkable discovery. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) revealed that the specialized equipment on the Chandrayaan-3 lander, designed to monitor seismic activity, captured vibrations originating from the Pragyan rover's movements and other mission equipment. On August 26, 2023, this equipment recorded an event that seems to be of natural origin, though ISRO is currently investigating further to understand its source, as stated by the organization.
