Medak: Panic has swept through the village of Chetle Tammai Palli in Masaipet Mandal as a leopard was spotted roaming the area. The predator reportedly attacked and consumed a calf in an agricultural field, leaving local farmers on edge. The incident occurred in the farm of Maloth Krishna, who found the calf's lifeless body with signs of predation when he checked the shed on Sunday morning. Concerned by the situation, Krishna alerted forest department officials and advised fellow farmers against venturing into fields alone. Officials have gathered to address the situation, emphasizing caution, particularly in view of the village's proximity to the forested area.
