Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old girl was gang-raped by eight men at her house in Nandanavanam Colony, Meerpet. The assailants forcibly entered her home, threatened her brother and three other children, and assaulted her at knifepoint. The victim, a Dalit, had lost her parents recently and was living with a relative. The police have registered a case, initiated medical examination, and formed teams to apprehend the accused. The suspects, under the influence of ganja, include individuals with a criminal history. Rachakonda Police Commissioner D. S. Chauhan visited the scene and investigations are ongoing.
