They separated on July 28 due to differences they couldn't resolve. Spears has asked not to pay alimony and to cover her legal costs. Asghari's lawyer mentioned that he holds no bad feelings towards Spears and will continue to support her. Some reports suggest Spears might have had an affair and there were allegations of her hurting Asghari. This was Spears' third marriage, which ended after 14 months.
