In a brazen daylight incident on Friday, five robbers executed a bank heist in Gujarat's Surat, making off with Rs 14 lakh in cash. Donning helmets and arriving on motorcycles, the robbers targeted the Bank of Maharashtra branch around 11 am. Brandishing weapons, the robbers swiftly carried out the robbery and fled the scene. Both indoor and outdoor CCTV footage captured the robbers in the act. The video footage reveals the robbers arriving on two motorcycles at the Bank of Maharashtra branch to perpetrate the robbery. Inside the bank, the footage depicts the robbers entering the premises and promptly brandishing their firearms, aiming them at both bank employees and customers. Before bank staff could react, the robbers displayed their weapons, commanding them to transfer money from the bank's counters into their bags.
